What do I need in order to link my bank account?

In order to make payments to your line of credit, you have to have one bank account linked at all times. You can link your bank account using Plaid, which requires your online login and password to your online banking provider. 

If you cannot find your bank when attempting to link through Plaid, at this time we will not be able to accept that bank account. We are currently developing a feature that will help users link bank accounts that are unable to be linked via plaid.

What bank accounts can I link to Plaid?

Plaid is partnered with most major banks and community banks. Over 9,600 banks in the US are partnered with Plaid. If you have a First Republic Commercial or Capital One bank account, you currently cannot link that account through Plaid.

What if I cannot connect my bank account?

If you have another bank account, you can attempt to link it in order to proceed. If the account that is used for your business cannot be linked, we suggest you also upload those bank statements for review to improve your chances of qualifying. 

You can also upload any additional documents on the same step of the application. If you do not have another bank account that can be linked, unfortunately, we cannot process your application.

Can I change the bank account associated with my Hatch Card?

Yes! You can easily link or unlink your bank accounts through Manage Bank Accounts in your Hatch Dashboard. Be sure you know your online login information for the bank that you want to link in order to make this process as easy as possible. You will be required to keep at least one bank account linked at all times.

I'm unable to make a payment to my Hatch Card with my linked bank account. What other ways can I pay my account to get it into good standing?

If you cannot make your payment via a linked bank account, Hatch can accept payment through a debit card or check. Successful debit card payments will be settled within 1-2 business days. Successful check payments will be settled only after the payment has been received via mail and cleared at your bank. 

  • For debit card payments, please click here. Please make sure to use the same e-mail address and name so we can apply the card payment to your Hatch account. If your e-mail or name does not match what we have on file, your card payment may be delayed or returned. 
  • For check payments, please include your name (if not sent from your personal account), the business name, and the last four digits of your Hatch card in the memo section. Checks should be written to Hatch Credit, Inc. and can be mailed to the following address:
